We are VERY excited to start a new phase in our breeding programs… The BoulderCrest Family Partnership Program (BFPP.) In order to give ALL our future breeding dogs THE BEST life possible, it was important to limit how many dogs we personally kept, as we know they each deserve LOTS of love and attention and we wouldn't have it any other way. With a strong desire to breed and improve both the English Labrador Retriever and the Chinese Crested Powderpuff for Superior Health, Temperament and GORGEOUS good looks, we wanted to add quality bloodlines to our breeding program. Not to mention... our sheer LOVE of having puppies around to play with and love is how this program began.
Besides our personal dogs, our breeding program is designed around ALL our precious breeding dogs living pampered pet lives with their adoptive BFPP families. Placing our TOP breeding dogs with adoptive families allows us to continue to grow in our breeding program, and more importantly ensures that each and every dog in our program is first and foremost an adored forever family member.
We have always been very strict in finding only THE BEST homes for our adored puppies. We have to be even MORE strict with the families/homes our BFPP dogs will reside in, as unaltered dogs and having puppies require a great amount of responsibility, care, and attention.
We think this is a win~win situation for ALL parties involved (4 legged included.)
What are some of the benefits for the adoptive family in the BFPP Program?
~ BFPP adopting families get a TOP breeder pick puppy for health, temperament and conformation at a reduced adoption cost upfront.
~ Experiencing ALL the joys and excitement of your dog giving birth and raising happy, health, thriving puppies.
~ All BFPP dogs will be heath tested at no cost to BFPP adoptive family.
~ Adoptive families of BFPP females will be monetarily compensated for litters.
~ BFPP females will have a total of 3-5 litters max in her lifetime.
~ BFPP families will adopt males at a
reduced adoption and will also be compensated for successful breedings.
~ Showing of BFPP dogs will be agreed upon between BFPP family and BoulderCrest Ranch. If mutual agreement is to show BFPP dog, then showing costs will be divided in half.
~ Whelping location will be agreed upon between BoulderCrest Ranch and BFPP adoptive family. If it is agreed that adoptive family will whelp litter, then weekly updates and pictures will be sent to BoulderCrest Ranch. BoulderCrest and adoptive puppies family would have permission to visit puppies every other week during puppy raising. If BoulderCrest is whelping/raising the litter, then BFPP adoptive family may visit at any time. It is our preference that we whelp and raise the puppies, as we LOVE having puppies around!
Other information/requirements about the BFPP Program include ~
~ BFPP Families must live within 2 hours of Boise, Idaho and be open to us visiting your home(twice yearly) for evaluations of your BFPP dog.
~ BFPP dog will live strictly with BFPP family his/her entire life, unless agreed upon during whelping and raising of puppies or an occasional day for health testing, photo shoots, temperament evaluations.
~ BFPP families must own their own home and have a fully fenced/secured yard. Home visit(s) and references will be required. When females come into season they MUST be keep strictly indoors and ONLY taken outside when FULLY supervised. Males must also be keep in secured yard and supervised at ALL times.
~ BFPP dogs MUST be an adored part of his/her family (living indoors) and not strictly an outside dog.
~ BFPP Dog will be bred after ALL health testing is completed and no sooner than 2nd heat cycle. BFPP dog will be bred no more than 2 litters in a row and then a year off or once per year with a minimum of 3 to maximum of 5 litters. Male dogs have a different agreement.
~ BFPP dogs will be co-owned between BoulderCrest Ranch and BFPP Family until contract has been satisfied.
~ BFPP family will be responsible for feeding a quailty kibble, which can include Taste of the Wild, Diamond Natural Chicken & Rice, Beef or Lamb and/or a raw meat diet.
~ BFPP family will have no more than 4 dogs in family and preferably two and agree to any city ordinances.
~ BFPP family must have one adult family member who does not work outside the home on a full time basis.
~ BFPP family will have BFPP puppy/dog attend obedience classes of no less then 2 sessions, before BFPP puppy/dog reaches 18 months of age.
~ All health/vet expenses (shots, wormings, routine care and emergency care, etc) will be the responsibility of the BFPP Family.
~ Within 2 months of contract being met, BoulderCrest will have BFPP dog spayed or neutered and full ownership will revert solely to BFPP adoptive family.
~ If BFPP family should move out of area (beyond 2 hours from Boise, Idaho) before contract is met, full registration fee will be due on BFPP dog plus any applicable health testing, photo shoots, travel expenses, etc., will be reimbursed to BoulderCrest within two weeks prior of move.
~ If BFPP family decides to spay/neuter BFPP dog before contract in met, BoulderCrest MUST be notified and receive compensation for full registration purchase price and any other expenses incurred (ie, health testing, photography fees, travel expenses, breeding fees- if breeding takes place and no litter is produced.)
~ BoulderCrest Ranch will be responsible for finding homes and holding contracts/guarantees for any and all puppies produced in the BFPP program.
~ BoulderCrest Ranch retains all breeding rights of BFPP dog and he/she will be bred to whom BoulderCrest chooses. BFPP family IS NOT allowed to breed BFPP dog outside this agreement, under strict contract and SEVERE penalty.
~ BFPP family is willing to have
BoulderCrest and their prospective parties take pictures and do evaluations of BFPP dog in regards to conformation and temperament on a twice yearly basis as needed.
~ If BFPP family can no longer keep BFPP dog, Adoptive family will sign AKC paperwork and full ownership will revert back to BoulderCrest Ranch. No monetary reimbursements will be made to BFPP adoptive family.
~ THE MOST important requirements are: Honesty, Commitment, Love and Socialization of BFPP Puppy and Trust between parties. Be willing to work with us and be THE MOST amazing home for THE LIFE of your 4 legged BEST FRIEND.
